The owner of Hotel Restaurant Saarblick is cooking himself. Karl-Heinz Ney has a vast experience as Executive Chef in many leading hotels of the world, for example in Canada, England, Austria and several countries in Southeast Asia. This international exposure is reflected on the restaurant’s menu which caters to hotelguests as well as to business travelers, bicycle riders or hikers who just want to enjoy a culinary break in a comfortable environment.
International Diversity
Our menu offers a wide range of salads, snacks, hearty meals and as well a choice of fine dinners. Focus is on German and Italian cuisine. Tourists and friends of regional specialities will not be disappointed when they have to choose from stuffed potato dumplings, overbaked Lyoner or other Saarland classical dishes.

By preparing our dishes we pay a great deal of attention to the usage of local products. A close cooperation with the local suppliers and producers is a guarantee for freshness, short delivery distance and controlled quality. Part of this concept is as well a top quality wine, from our wine supplier “Petgen-Dahm” in the village of Perl-Sehndorf for example.
